Martha Crawford - Project Founder

Martha received a Master's of Social Work from New York University in 1995, and a post-master's  Advanced Certificate in Clinical Social work from the same institution in 1999. She worked as a clinical social worker, a psychotherapist, a field instructor and a clinical supervisor for over twenty-five years in New York City.

During the 2016 election she was diagnosed with a unique, unstageable, cancer and was unable to continue working. It was then that she opened the first 45 Dreams Project website began collecting dreams.

Bill Bowers is a renown actor and mime who studied with the legendary Marcel Marceau and currently serves on the faculties of New York University, Stella Adler Conservatory, and William Esper Studios. He is also presently a Visiting Professor at Williams College. He holds an MFA from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts, and an Honorary PhD from Rocky Mountain College. 

Shea in the Catskills is an artist, activist and a tarotist whose work is informed by the decade they spent in full-time residential Zen Buddhist training

Sarah Quinn is a sociologist, teacher, and advisor. Her work focuses on how social systems shape daily life, and how we can locate possibilities for human flourishing within those systems.

Elizabeth Honer is a graphic artist and animator with over 15 years experience of exploration into the world of dreaming. Her work was shown at the 2025 Annual Dream Conference for the International Association for the Study of Dreams and her dream art was featured on the Fall 2025 cover of their periodical magazine DreamTime.
