Visual Arts

As we learn to recognize images and to allow them to teach us our their ways of imagining, we will discover that each of our actions, feelings, perceptions, and thoughts can be used to approach the imaginal… and that, indeed, our attention to the imaginal movements of daily life can enrich and deepen our connection to that life.

~ Mary Watkins, Waking Dreams

A central goal of this archive is to help all of us contemplate the ways that collective images from shared experiences enter and emerge from our dreaming

And how such dreams, sleeping and waking, shape our response to shared challenges

How do these images effect us, as creators, and as observers?

Sometimes we need to make or see or hear things to experience them.

Words and writing are only one way.

Art is its own kind of shared dreaming.

We invite visual artists, sketchers, sculptors, doodlers and dabblers of all kinds who would like to submit your own creations - on the dream archive images - or your own - to feel welcome to do so - and we will post them as we can - anonymously or with attribution.
